Hideki is the primary and default muse for this blog; james is a secondary muse and raiden kind of pops in here and there. this blog was originally made for hideki and it's where his development has come from. just know that unless it's specified, all interaction will default to hideki.
I am … a slow and scattered writer, I cannot guarantee when my replies do come out since i usually work until 8pm so i'm quite tired most days and low energy. i often partake in dash commentary and shenanigans because it is the easiest on my energy, but long / serious threads and asks may take me much longer for me to get to. this is not the blog for you if you are not alright with having to wait on longer / more serious threads or aren't alright with having a decent amount of ooc / short content on your dash. this does not mean i do not want to roleplay with you.
as a heads up, if you do use double / triple spacing in your replies, on my replies i will reduce it to one spacing just to make it easier on my eyes. feel free to continue though!!! it's more for my own readability on the blog.
I tend to queue up my replies to make it easier on myself. i usually queue 1 reply on a workday near the evening to just give myself a bit of padding, so sometimes replies may take a little while to come out. if i'm feeling a reply in the moment, or if it's dash commentary, i may just post it on the spot but it isn't frequent.
i archive my thread tracker threads after a month of inactivity, unless they're on my turn and i still plan to reply to them. it's mostly just to keep it clean, but if i get a reply to any archived thread, it'll (usually) be unarchived.
sometimes i will clean out old drafts / asks if i am feeling overwhelmed, i usually try to hold onto all my drafts to reply to eventually, but sometimes a smaller draft box helps me. i always, always am open to more threads though!
on the other end, please don't be afraid to drop threads we have! you don't have to give me a heads up or anything; i know they can get overwhelming, you just don't have any ideas on how to reply, or the muse just fizzles out for the thread (especially since replies may come out weeks later), which is more than a-okay.
i write using small text and minimal formatting; dialogue will always be bolded, paragraph beginnings will be indented, and some words may be italicized for emphasis.
i usually use coloured manhwa / manga icons alongside my own drawings for icons, but I can go iconless; i do not do Real life faceclaims.

Freckles adorn essentially his whole body, and his skin is extremely pale compared to other people.Hideki still has baby cheeks that can be squished, and his nose is slightly crooked from having it broken quite a few times, otherwise, his features are relatively soft: slightly fuller lips, almond-shaped eyes, and a jawline that isn't too sharp, along with a slightly rounded chin. He can grow stubble, but with his hair being white, it's next to invisible on his skin.He has scars lining his wrists, stomach and thighs, though they’re often covered with clothing due to them being self-inflicted. Not only that, but he also has scars on his knuckles from fights in the past; they never quite fully healed since he often picks at them when he's anxious or stressed out. The tall male likes to believe he is an optimistic person at heart, trying to see the best of the world before him even though he knows that his own life and the life of those around him have not been perfect. He believes everyone deserves a smile or someone to tell them it'll be okay, and he tries his damn hardest to be like that.Hideki pours himself into what he enjoys, may it be hobbies, his job, or relationships in general; bringing up things he loves will basically turn him into an excited child who wants to ramble on for hours, though he'll often shy away if he feels like he's talking for too long. He is deeply loyal to his friends, and although he is not easily angered, his friends and family are one thing he will protect without hesitation.Hideki is also good at reading the body language of people and the subtlety of their words, he's also sensitive to the emotions and aura of people around him; it helps him to connect to others and to put himself in their shoes, though it can also play against him in overwhelming him if he's not at his best state.Sometimes he does tend to overextend himself trying to help people and not help himself, and has issues with knowing when to ask for help from those around him. childhood
Hideki was raised in a household where his parents were workaholics, and he often spent more time alone than around any other person. He was a socially awkward child, often preferring to lock himself in his room and to play on his consoles, finding it hard to interact with other children without some degree of anxiety. The most consistent interaction he had with other people was with babysitters that changed yearly.The first 5-6 years of his life were a vicious struggle between his mother and father; his mother had always wished for a daughter and tried to mold Hideki into that desire, while his father did everything to stop that. In the end, he succeeded, but it lasted long enough to leave a permanent mark on Hideki's sense of identity. The relationship between him and his mother was anything but loving; she chided him over small things, never offered the attention he needed, put him down, and unknown to him, his father was, unfortunately, victim to her as well. She held the finance of the family and had him under her thumb, so he was unable to leave or take Hideki away. His father genuinely loved Hideki, but he didn't have much time to spend with him, and he walked on eggshells around his wife.This all had changed at the age of 5 when his mother became pregnant with another child and when he was six, she gave birth to a young girl bestowed with the name Hitomi, what his mother had wanted all along. The albino became next to non-existent to his mother, rather giving the young girl the attention he never got — and he grew jealous until the young girl turned her attention to her big brother and wanted to genuinely spend time with him.There was a struggle between him and his mother over her, but his father always made sure they found time for each other. Hitomi grew to be his best friend, helping Hideki open up and become more sociable and giving him someone to lean on for a bit when he didn't feel well. She was his light and he would protect her with his life if he could.It was during this time that he had also met Haru and Raiden Lemarchal, two twin brothers that were stopping in the Edogawa district in Tokyo with their father. They were roughly around Hideki's age, only older by almost a year. It took a while for him to warm up to them, but with coaxing from his sister and Haru they all grew to be relatively close, leaving the young albino to be ecstatic to have found people who wouldn’t ignore him or drop him due to being a hard person to befriend.The albino leaned more towards the quiet twin, Raiden, due to the other having some kind of presence that Hideki didn't mind ( silences between them never really felt awkward ). Hideki's favourite thing to do was to get Raiden to smile, even though that was next to impossible — the smiles he did squeeze out made every "accidental" bump over objects and scraped knee worth it.He lead a relatively happy life, despite his parents and the trouble he got in at school when it came to fighting; he had his sister by his side and a small friend group that was tight-knit for a good handful of years. It was at the age of 15, when his sister was 9, that everything changed.teenage years
He had lost his sister to a car accident when they were out one summer day: he had been holding on to her hand when something ahead caught her attention. Against his protests, she slipped out of his grip, running ahead through the crowds — over the noise she didn’t hear the oncoming car, soon succumbing to internal bleeding on the way to the hospital. Hideki’s mother ended up blaming him for her death while his father stayed silent, leaving the albino to gain a neurotic guilt complex that heavily weighed him down for many years. Around this time his own powers manifested when his anger and stress spiked, often blowing out lightbulbs or causing erratic patterns to appear on the screens of electronics.Haru and Raiden also disappeared not long after, leaving him alone. The albino had never learned how to properly cope with his emotions from a young age, and often got overwhelmed by his own feelings and was in a constant emotional turmoil. His anger often lashed out towards his parents or other kids at school if they provoked him; he wouldn't waste time pouncing on someone if they insulted him and he often came home bruised and hurt, even more so than before. At moments he went out himself to seek trouble, people to fight just for the thrill of it, pain, and the violent outlet.He had grown to have a dependency on oxycodone to drown out his emotions after he had suffered an injury and had to be on painkillers. He had contemplated ending it all by taking his own life with an overdose of them, though he always ended up backing out on any attempts or spitting out the pills. He went through a total of three attempts with the painkillers, not counting the four others across his lifetime.Things changed when his uncle whom he had never officially met, James King, came to visit one day from a distant town and stayed over for a few days. He and Hideki got along almost immediately and the albino latched to him, not long after he left and after a few weeks of digging up information online and from his father, Hideki had decided to run away from home and to where his uncle lived, bag packed for a new life.Though surprised, his uncle took him in and eventually became the father he never had truly had from the beginning. He finished high school in Karakura and settled into his life helping at his uncle’s cafe ( Cafe Latte ). James had also helped Hideki wean off his dependency upon oxycodone, and he tried his best to offer Hideki emotional support — and to this day Hideki is thankful for everything his uncle has done for him.19+, up to current date
Hideki continued living under his uncle's care, having finished high school, and remaining to work as a waiter. Not long after he met Raiden again one night in the cafe and the two reunited ( albeit they acted awkwardly around each other ). He met the girl Raiden shared an apartment with, Saki, and the albino began to branch out to meet other people, such as Llewella, Aurora, and Rafael, friends who had helped Hideki out when he wasn't feeling well and gave him support.The albino struggled with helping himself, and having Raiden back, he wished to help his childhood friend with the troubles he was having, leading to frequent arguments and heated moments between them as Raiden pushed him away and Hideki tried to push closer, threatening to break the two apart. It took a long time until the ravenette allowed Hideki to get close, and even longer for the two to officially be considered together. Ups and downs followed, events that left the both of them hurt — but also helped to develop them, and eventually the two got married in France on June 3, 2015.He got help for his own self through therapy, although it took a while to find it in Japan. Hideki is a lot happier with himself now and content, having put most of his past behind him and learning to look forward to the future. He still has moments where he becomes his own worst enemy, but he knows he has the support and aid to help when those times come around. There is a lot more confidence in his own identity and self and he's starting to branch himself out to different interests and events to try to create memorable experiences.Currently, he is living in a house he and Raiden share. He often visits his uncle with Raiden, and still works as a waiter at the cafe, taking it upon himself to educate new employees and including himself in most tasks in the cafe; it has done wonders to help him open up over the years and to smooth out his turbulent personality from the past. On the side, he does programming for contract work and hopes to help with developing games in the future, as well as handling a youtube channel and streaming as a hobby.

His powers also allows him to enter into an advanced piece of technology, such as a phone, and sift through all the data and modify it; the more complex the piece of technology and the longer he uses his ability for this, the more likely it will be to have side effects which include nosebleeds, headaches, and nausea.It also allows for potential self defense, and can be triggered by highly stressed emotions; there is a high possibility that shocking a person in this state will result in death by stopping the heart.When Hideki’s ability is fully manifested, it appears as black gloves and boots with vivid blue line markings covering the shoes and gloves in circuit-like designs. The way the shoes and gloves are made, they can bend the electrical currents to make his punches and kicks more deadly. His movement and the force of his hits are also enhanced during this period, to an unnatural level that can’t be attained by regular humans. One other noticeable different is the neon blue symbol over his eyes, at granting him enhanced vision he would not have naturally.Even so, his body is still human, so he is susceptible to broken bones, internal bleeding, and so on, having to rely on these enhanced abilities to avoid the damage occuring in the first place.As a side effect, he is able to discern the "aura" of living things around him at almost all times, allowing to separate humans from supernatural and to have some sense of who is around him when he concentrates. This line blurs when it comes to humans that have abilities unless their bodies are heavily modified and they're less "human".It was only after his sister’s death and after he ran away did his powers begin to manifest itself in greater amounts ( not simple things such as making a light bulb burn and blow itself out by accident ), scaring him and making him even more wary of himself. It took a year or so to get it under control, all while having to keep it hidden from his uncle.

It had only been almost half a year since hideki had run from home and moved in from his uncle – he’s still weaning off his dependency of oxycodone, and his arms are often covered to hide raw marks he has scratched and carved into his own skin. He’s a quiet person, expression always seeming to be set into a scowl – and although he is easy to be angered and irritated, he is a good person at heart, untrusting and wary as he may be. There is still some faint hint of hope in his tired eyes for a better future.His marks in his classes are among the highest, though he often has days when he skips class due to not wanting to be there or being able to pull himself out of bed and dragged into depression. His time is usually spent at home or at his uncle’s cafe when he’s working – Hideki doesn’t really trust himself that much on some days to stay home alone.

Gotta catch 'em all. In reality, though, Hideki is an adventuring trainer with an insatiable itch to travel around the world and to different regions to experience their trial of gyms; on the sides he joins Pokemon Contests mainly for fun. He was born and raised in the Sinnoh region in Solaceon Town, he set out quite late on his adventure, roughly when he was in his teens.His starter Pokemon is a Ralts that has been by his side and was a gift from his uncle ( his uncle has lived in the Hoenn region and had connections to get some Pokemon from there ) and it has helped him quite a lot, especially with the turmoil he has held over the years in his mind. Raiden travels by his side, though the other is oft more occupied with wanting to eventually have his own gym one day and settle in a region.To date, Hideki has beaten the gyms of Sinnoh and has challenged the Champion, though he doesn't wish to take the seats of any current Champions. He has visited Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn, and is almost through Unova's region. He absolutely loves exploring new places and is very eager to meet and learn about the customs and history of each place.

His albinism does actively step into his love of working outside and keeping himself active, but he will not let it get in the way of his plan to start his own little self-sustaining life in the quiet valleys.He is still a nerd at heart, and although his room is teeming with books, gardening tools and kits, wires, boardgames, and gaming consoles are alongside them.His uncle lives a few towns away, still actively a part of his nephews life and often stops by to visit him and help with sowing the seeds of the new seasons, sometimes partaking in the festivities.
